On April 20th, Pacmann Academy held an Offline Workshop on Data Visualization with Tableau.

In the workshop, we have to create a dashboard about the office equipment distribution industry with the user being the distributor manager in the industry.

The job to be done was:
1. Ensure the distribution of goods is running well,
2. Target revenue from distribution is achieved

Due to data limitations, I created a dashboard that focuses on client transactions and stock-demand based on the category of items sold and displays client transactions by province using a map.

The insights obtained from this dashboard are:
1. Total Transactions, monitoring monthly transaction trends help companies understand the highest demand periods and plan inventory accordingly.
2. Client Category Breakdown, Visualizing transactions by client category (government, private sector, NGO) allows companies to tailor strategies to different client needs.
3. Top 10 Stock vs Demand, comparing stock levels with demand helps the company in identifying popular items and ensuring it meets the needs of clients without any excess/shortage of stock.
4. Geographical Distribution, analyzing transactions by province provides a clear picture of regional demand, helping companies in optimizing distribution and logistics networks.

Some highlights obtained:
1. March to December transactions, steady growth with the highest peaks in May and October, reflecting increased demand during those months.
2. Client Transactions, government clients had the highest transactions, indicating significant procurement activity from this sector.
3. Top Demand Items, office chairs and desks dominated the top 10 list.
4. Provincial Transactions, higher transaction volumes in key provinces, providing visuals for more focused marketing and supply chain efforts.
